Group commends Nigerians’ patience over fuel scarcity

With fuel shortages persisting in Abuja and other major Nigerian cities, the Initiative for Leadership Development and Change (ILDC) has commended Nigerians for their patience and perseverance.

Chief Ugochukwu Nnam, the group’s National Coordinator, gave the eulogy in an interview with the Nigerian News Agency in Abuja on Monday.

Nnam, who saluted Nigerians for their resilience despite difficult times, urged them to continue to abide by the law.

“I commend Nigerians for their resilience despite fuel shortages.

“They should continue to believe in Nigeria while queuing for fuel, it is important that they are orderly and peaceful about it, no one should oppress the other,” he advised.

However, the ILDC coordinator urged the Nigerian government to urgently address the situation to give people a breathing space.

According to him, the government must do what is necessary to maintain the confidence of the people available.

Nnam expressed his hope that Nigeria will rise to the challenge with the collaborative effort of relevant stakeholders.

He reiterated his initiative’s commitment to ensuring that government remains accountable where necessary for the provision of good governance.
