American singer Britney Spears has reportedly disclosed in her upcoming memoir, titled ‘The Woman in Me,’ that during her relationship with record producer Justin Timberlake, there was a pregnancy that ultimately led to an abortion.
Their romance, which spanned from 1999 to 2002, saw a significant and emotionally challenging moment.
According to Spears, “At one point when we were dating, I became pregnant with Justin’s baby.”
She expressed deep love for Timberlake and her aspirations to build a family with him. However, the unexpected pregnancy forced them to confront the reality that they were not prepared to become parents at such a young age.
Spears, who is now 41 years old, revealed that Timberlake was not supportive of the pregnancy and believed they were too young to start a family.
She emphasized that, if the decision had been solely hers, she would not have chosen to have an abortion. The singer described this experience as “one of the most agonizing things” she has ever endured in life.
