Excitement as actress Jegede shares her upcoming biggest comedy-thriller

 

Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede has shared her excitement about her upcoming project which is poised to leave a lasting mark on the Nollywood Industry.

Taking to her Instagram page, Jegede shared exciting news about the film and expressed her enthusiasm for being part of a groundbreaking production.

In a series of captivating photos of herself, she revealed that the project was shot with a state-of-the-art camera operating at its maximum capacity of 8k, Sony Venice 2.

She proudly disclosed that the same camera had been used to film critically acclaimed movies such as “Black Panther,” “Avatar,” and “Top Gun: Maverick,” further adding to the anticipation surrounding her project.

The talented actress, who is also an associate producer for the film, expressed her delight at the opportunity to work on what she described as “one of the biggest comedy-thrillers ever made in Nollywood.”

“Tiptoes in, looks left, looks right, looks left again, drops it, runs away. But ‘running into’ a new era as I Associate Produce Plan the movie, one of the biggest comedy-thriller ever made in Nollywood.

“And we are making history as the first Nollywood film to be shot with the monstrous camera on 8k level maximum capacity, Sony Venice 2. Same camera used to shoot Black Panther, Avatar, and Top Gun:Maverick.

“Directed by: @officialsamolatunji1,” she posted,

Jegede‘s confidence in the project shines through, as she assured her followers that if they liked the shared pictures, they would certainly enjoy the film and even those who initially have reservations about the photos will still find the movie compelling.

This venture represents a significant milestone for Nollywood, as it marks the first time such a high-caliber camera will be employed in a Nigerian production. Yvonne Jegede’s dedication to pushing boundaries and elevating the industry is commendable, and her involvement in this pioneering film sets the stage for a new era in Nollywood.
