Davido reportedly moves out of his Banana Island mansion, property put up for rent

Famous Nigerian afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, known by his stage name as Davido, has reportedly moved out of his Banana Island multi-million naira mansion and put the property up for rent.

This was made known via a Lagos State real estate agent, Kofoworola Adewumi’s Instagram page.

She wrote, “Searching for a luxurious 5 bedroom detached house in the serene and exclusive Banana Island area of Lagos? Look no further than this stunning property now available for rent.

“This impressive home boasts a range of top-of-the-line features, including gym, a sparkling swimming pool, a fully fitted kitchen with all the latest appliances and amenities and expansive living areas perfect for entertaining guests.

“Do not miss out on this incredible opportunity to live in a truly remarkable home in one of Lagos’ most sought after neighborhoods. Call us to arrange a viewing and see for yourself what makes this property so special.”

Reacting to her post, many of the singer’s fans stormed the agent’s comment section to accuse her of chasing clout with Davido’s mansion.

Responding to the accusations, Adewumi wrote: “You all need to stop making all these unsolicited comments under my post. Davido once lived in the property.Yes!

“However he has moved out and the property is now back in the market for rent. If you all were so concerned and intimate with Davido to the point of knowing his residence, you should also be aware that he has moved out.”

It was gathered that the singer was renting the house for $150,000 per annum.

This is coming barely seven months after the singer lost his son to a drowning incident in the Banana Island home in October 2022.
