The Commissioner of Information, Kano State, Mohammed Garba, says the Dala Dry port will make Kano a hub of domestic and international trade.
Garba, in a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday in Abuja, said the port would also diversify the economic base of the country.
He said the state government would be holding an Economy Investment Summit to showcase the port as major transport infrastructure.
He added that the Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, will on March 7, at 11a.m, unveil the Theme and Logo of Dala Dry Port.

”It will also showcase other sectors like the Kano economic city that will stimulate industrialisation and commerce,” Garba said.
The commissioner said the unveiling would have in attendance major stakeholders in the industry and Royal Fathers, among others. (NAN)
