NRC suspends ride from in Delta due to technical hitches

Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) has suspended the 8 am train trip from Ujevwu on Delta from January 17 due to technical failures.

Mr Fidet Okhiria, Managing Director of the NRC, said that steps were nevertheless taken to rectify the problems as soon as possible.

“This is to inform the general public and more especially our esteemed passengers that due to technical problems, the 08:00 train from Ujevwu station will not be running from tomorrow, January 17.

“However, the 14:15 train will continue to run.

“Rest assured that everything possible is being done to ensure that this outage is for a minimum period of time.

“We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause our esteemed passengers,” he said.
