President Muhammadu Buhari approved the appointment of Ayodeji Gbeleyi as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN).
Femi Adesina, the president’s spokeswoman, confirmed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.
“A Chartered Institute of Taxation Chartered Institute Chartered Accountant and Associate, Gbeleyi is a well known financial expert who was once a Finance Commissioner in Lagos State,” said Adesina.
Mr Gbeleyi, who is also a player in the aviation sector, replaces Chief Adewale Adeeyo, who recently passed away.
