Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has signed the state’s 2022 Appropriation Bill of ₦350.7 billion into law.
Speaking after signing the bill in Okemosan Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun said his administration would put machinery in place towards ensuring that the budget enhances the state’s economy for the benefit of the people of the state.
The Governor emphasised that his administration would continue to embark on developmental projects that would make life comfortable for the people of the state.
While thanking the members of the State House of Assembly for the speedy passage of the bill, Governor Abiodun urged the House to continue to support his government for the overall development of the state.
Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly Mr Olakunle Oluomo who explained that the budget passed through the required legislative process, expressed optimism that the budget would help to reposition the state.
