Kaduna Electric gives customers 1,534 free prepaid metres

Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company has distributed 1,534 free metres to customers for participating in the ongoing ‘debt discount promotion’

Abubakar Jimeta, the company’s director of marketing and revenue assurance, made this known during an advisory forum in Kaduna on Monday.

Mr Jimeta, represented by Umar Adamu-Gumel, said the promotion was to recover the company’s outstanding debts while providing incentives to the same clients.

“Clients whose debts exceed N100,000 will be entitled to a 25 per cent discount, while those who owe less than N100,000 will enjoy a 10 per cent discount.

“To be eligible, the customer must present their recent invoice. Immediately, our representative from the Client Advisory Group will calculate the amount of the discount edition and what they must pay to zero the debt, ”he explained.

The marketing officer said there was an additional incentive of a free prepaid meter assigned to customers when verifying their participation in the debt recovery promotion.

He said the promotion was ongoing and urged clients to make an effort to participate in order to pay off their debts.
