Liquid Intelligent Technologies launches Microsoft Teams Essential

Liquid Intelligent Technologies (www.Liquid.Tech), a Cassava Technologies company, a pan-African technology group, has partnered with Microsoft to launch the new Microsoft Teams Essential offering. , a solution that incorporates the Teams collaboration platform into an affordable package targeting small, medium and micro-businesses (SMEs) across the continent.

With around 73 per cent of workers around the world saying they prefer flexible remote work options, hybrid work will inevitably be the norm in the future. Teams Essentials extends the success of Microsoft Teams by providing an affordable entry point for remote collaboration that small businesses, in particular, can take advantage of. This solution enables teams to seamlessly meet, chat, call, and collaborate, regardless of device or location. The new offering maximizes value while minimizing costs for businesses by centralizing their collaboration tools on a single platform at a lower cost than a full Microsoft suite.

According to David Behr, CEO of Liquid Cloud and Cyber Security, “Teams Essentials is an entry-level version of Microsoft Office Suite that extends the Teams platform to small and medium-sized businesses, typically 25 users or fewer. Liquid is proud to partner with Microsoft to offer this affordable solution that supports the collaborative nature of small businesses, promoting the business in Africa.“

To enable seamless collaboration, Microsoft Teams Essentials gives users access to their Microsoft online tools, namely Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Users will be able to connect to Teams Essentials through a third-party email provider.

Teams Essentials is another offering Liquid is proud to launch across the continent. This is part of its strategic repositioning as a smart technology provider serving the rapidly evolving communication requirements of its customers in Africa.
