Honourable Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM)
The Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa says the Nigerian Diaspora has become an established economic and investment factor for the nation.
She stated this during a news conference ahead of the 4th Edition of the Nigerian Diaspora Investment Summit with the theme, Diaspora Partnership and Linkages for Post-COVID Economic Growth.
Mrs Dabiri-Erewa explained that the summit was organised following the federal government’s emphasis on providing unprecedented support for the small business sector, agriculture, and massive infrastructure development.
The Nigerians in Diaspora Investment Summit 2021 is expected to focus on Agribusiness, Education, HealthCare, Creative, Entertainment and Sport.
Other areas the investment summit would focus on included Infrastructure & Real Estate, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, ICT and FinTech and Oil & Gas.
The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo is expected to declare the conference open.
