Kwara drives investments through innovative ideas

Kwara State Government has stated that it is committed and open to innovative ideas for massive investments and make the state a centre of commerce.

The state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, stated this when a delegation of Kwara State Chamber for Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KWACCIMA) led by its new President, Olalekan Oladimeji paid him a courtesy visit in Ilorin, Kwara State.

He noted that the state will support  KWACCIMA in hosting a Trade Fair in November this year.

He explained that the trade fair would be another opportunity to showcase the state’s economic endowments for investments.

The Governor sought a robust partnership with the KWACCIMA on cashew plantation and its processing.

KWACCIMA President, Olalekan Oladimeji, said the visit was to remind the Governor of the 8th Kwara Trade Fair, which comes up in November this year.

He commended the administration for the unprecedented support for the business community in the state.

Oladimeji also urged the government to construct a permanent pavilion for the yearly trade fair, urging the administration to encourage local government authorities to participate in the fair.
