Nigeria at 61: Access Bank to reward 14 customers with N1m each

Access Bank Plc will be rewarding 14 customers with N1 million each in the DiamondXtra Independence Splash to commemorate Nigeria’s 61st independence anniversary.

Mr Victor Etuokwu, the bank’s executive director, Retail Banking, made this known in a statement made available to journalists in Lagos on Monday.

“The DiamondXtra Independence Splash raffle which will take place on October 1 is a testament to our commitment to officially empower Nigerians, regardless of their educational, religious and social status.

“We will be rewarding 14 clients, two from each geographic area of ​​the country with N1 million each.” This is our own little way to give back to society and to empower our loyal customers.”

Etuokwu also said the bank will also pay N5 million per month to customers who participate in their daily draws in bunches across the country.

“Customers of one of these clusters, through their associations, companies, markets, clubs, among others, have a chance to win cash prizes ranging from N10,000 to N50,000.

“The DiamondXtra Independence Splash raffle is open to new and existing Access Bank customers.

“To be part of the winning train, simply fund your DiamondXtra account with a minimum of N 5,000 or more and have a chance to become a winner in the Independence Splash and Quarterly draws.

“New customers can dial 9015 # from their cell phone or go to any Access Bank branch nearby to open a DiamondXtra account,” he said.

Adaeze Umeh, Group Head, Consumer Banking, Access Bank, said the bank will reward customers with cash prizes of N1million, N500,000, and business grants worth N1million for five winners.

She said there would also be a rent prize for one year to be won by 14 families, family health coverage for seven families and a lifetime salary (100,000 N per month for 20 years) for a special winner.

According to Umeh, the bank has kept its promise to keep the initiative alive for more than a decade and has changed the lives of more than 22,000 customers with cash prizes of over N5 billion.

“The DiamondXtra reward program is one of the many ways the bank creates value and meets the needs of its loyal customers.

“Apart from the Diamondxtra Independence Splash raffle to reward lucky customers with N 1 million in all geographies, we will also be rewarding more winners in the Diamondxtra quarterly raffle which will take place in mid-October.

“Diamondxtra Cluster raffles will be organized daily for clients of various associations, clubs, groups, societies…, and they will have a chance to win from 10,000 to 50,000 n.

“To qualify for a draw, a minimum of 80 to 100 association/club members will need to open and fund their account with a minimum of 5,000 N to have a chance of winning.”
