Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State
Kaduna State government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with a private firm to develop the Kaduna Green Economic Zone.
The Deputy Governor of the State, Hadiza Balarabe shortly after signing the agreement assured that the partnership with the firm known as KK Kingdom would consolidate the efforts of the state government in establishing collaboration and partnership in its activities.
Hadiza further explained that the proposed partnership will add value to the state government’s desire to have an integrated industrial park that will attract investment into the state.
In his remarks, the President of the firm, Khalifa Abdullahi explained that the green economic zone will cover 18km road and situated at Kaduna-Jos road in Maraban Jos.
He disclosed that the project will be concluded within a period of two years.
Abdullahi added that based on their agreement, the firm would provide the infrastructure of modern technologies comprising road, electricity, water treatment plants among others.
